About the Main Polling Station
There’s one main polling station on Bonaire, which is also the central electoral committee. This central/main polling station consists of five members, including a chairman and a deputy chairman. We’d like to introduce them to you.

The central/main polling station consists of five members, including a chairman and a deputy chairman.
In addition to the five members of the central/main polling station, two deputy members are appointed.

Appointment and execution
Bonaire has one main polling station, which is also the central electoral committee. The Executive Council appoints the members and deputy members of the central/main polling station for the Island Council Elections for a period of four calendar years.
The central/main polling station performs the following tasks in the election process:
- the registration procedure of the name of the political party
- the nomination
- determination of election results
