The parties that registered their name as an indication on the list of candidates for the 2023 elections have been announced.

Local political parties that wish to participate in the Island Council Elections under a specific designation must register under this designation at the Central Electoral Committee of the island. This designation will appear at the top of the list of candidates on the ballot paper. The registration remains valid for subsequent elections until the party ceases to exists, has been declared prohibited by court order, or has failed to submit a valid list of candidates for the most recent Island Council Election.

The opportunity for political groups to submit a request for registration of a designation for the upcoming Island Council Election closed on Monday, December 19, 2022. For this registration, each group was notified in time to submit their request before the set deadline. The complete lists of candidates for all parties must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on January 30, 2023.
